As an operations, HR, and management consultant for 10 years, Kris has led nonprofits and foundations through organizational, personnel, and board strategic restructuring. She has conducted assessments and audits to improve operational, HR, volunteer, and board processes. She has managed and taught annual work planning and budgeting processes, written personnel policies and HR and operations procedures manuals, coached senior and mid-level management, conducted board development, and has organized back-office collaborations.

As a search coordinator Kris has provided the HR functions necessary to complete employee searches. She has screened, interviewed, and recommended candidates for over 100 searches for the foundations and nonprofits where she has consulted and/or been employed.
